I wrote in a gratitude journal about the people/places/things/experiences for which I was grateful every day for some three years. Although I no longer keep a gratitude journal, that sustained, daily practice of identifying for what I should be grateful had a permanent, positive effect on my daily thoughts to this day.
@kirkmahoneyphd I think gratitude is extremely important- expressing gratitude & practicing it. For me, personally, practicing gratitude means volunteering with the less fortunate. It’s way for me to express gratitude for the things that I have in my life, and it can also help me to gain a greater appreciation for how blessed I am.
