Your blog-post title caught my eye! An entire summer – 94 days, 15 hours, and 41 minutes – without looking at any screens?
Then I read the post and appreciated the hyperbole. Thanks, @urszula!
I’m totally making the most of my summer this year! Once work ends…I’m logging off ![]()
Me too! All screens go off, and the book comes out.
I have a 6 week cycle tour coming up, no screens, no work, just pedalling and pastry. Will be taking the Mudita along for the ride, if needed.
…and a film camera runs out of film.
@urszula, is it correct to assume that this post applies to television viewing, too?!
11. You’ll Avoid Streaking-Driven Anxiety
Here is a snapshot of an email message that I got today from the maker of another minimalist cellphone. I had never heard of this (anxiety-generating) form of streaking.
It all depends. I don’t have an issue with watching a movie with friends (I personally enjoy this on days that it’s raining or maybe it’s too hot to be outside), or catching up with what’s going on in the world by watching the evening news. But- yeah, binge-watching a 7-episode docu-series about some obscure topic just to mindlessly waste time- that’s a HAED NO for me.
