Blocking a range of numbers on the Kompakt

Hello,
I’ve just received my Kompakt to replace my Hisense A5. I must get used to it and I will probably have a lot of questions in the future but, right now, I’m looking to block range of numbers.

I’m heavily spammed by phone calls and numbers change all the time. But only the last part is changing.

Using Yet Another Call Blocker, I was able to block those with . Block "+322880" and the whole range is blocked. This works great and allowed me to keep my phone on while working, something that was not possible without Yacb.

Could a similar feature be implemented on the Kompakt ? It would be a huge bonus for a really small feature.

I think Urszula said something about the Kompakt automatically blocking all unrecognised numbers and numbers which do not reveal their caller ID via a setting in the calling menu… I might be wrong!

The point is that I don’t want to block all unrecognised numbers. Only those from a given range.

@ploum Unfortunately, on a native level, Mudita Kompakt does not have that function. To be honest, I have not seen any phone that does that. Maybe a third-party app?

Some phone support it but it is very subtle. It only means that you can add a “*” at the end of a phone number to indicate a range.

Most third party blockers support that but I guess a third party call blocker would not make much sense on the Kompakt. Also, it is usually a feature really easy to implement. It might even already work on the Kompakt but there’s simply no way to add an asterisk in the block list.

In fact, using a 3rd party app might be an option but Mudita OS seems to lack a way to set default system app. (For example, I’ve installed the Flickboard keyboard, I could enable it but didn’t find a way to revert to the default keyboard)
