Greetings. My Kompakt updated to the new version a couple of weeks ago. I made a back up of my phone last night and today my phone screen is now blank. The back light still turns on, but no e-ink display. When I received a call, I tried to click where the pick up button was, however, there was that did not work. When connected to bluetooth in the call, my fingerprint would still unlock the device. I tried connecting my device to the Mudita Center and use the fingerprint to unlock, but that did not work.
Anyone else have any issue with the screen going blank/black?
I tried different combinations to get the phone to restart, and the volume down key + power button got the phone to restart. A feeling of relief came over me when I saw the Mudita logo that let me know the e-ink screen was ok. Once it started back up, it said the launcher had crashed. I have 3rd party apps downloaded, but not a launcher.

The launcher crash message can sometimes happen after updates, especially if you have third-party apps installed that might conflict with the system. Hopefully, it’s just a one-time hiccup.
If the launcher keeps crashing or the phone behaves oddly, a factory reset might help — but be sure to back up your data first. Also, Mudita support can guide you through more advanced troubleshooting if needed.

I have had screen issues since the update as well. It takes longer to come on from start up and will sometimes sit on a black/blank screen for quite a while after pushing an app such as the SMS or Phone app button. Pretty frustrating when you’re trying to make an urgent call but normally I just wait it out.
