I’m not surprised. It happens all the time. These are private companies and money really is all that matters. Truth sometimes is pushed to the side.

@roberto & @kanecitzen have you seen Netflix’s Painkiller miniseries?
It’s a fictionalised (but following facts and the real story) look at the oxy epidemic. I think you’d like it. Besides all, it’s a piece of really good tv.
