Hello fellow muditians.

I am transfering from Apple ecosystem to Mudita ecosystem.

I mean, not all things, a lot of things that I can use from my macbook I will still use from it. But there is one thing I would like to have on my phone: localization of the things I own.

I own 4 airtags and checking the location from my mac is not enough, sometimes when I am searching for something, I prefer to be able to search from my phone.

Is there a working airtag android alternative, that I could use with my Mudita? Did anyone tried one?

Most require google find my phone so will not work with the Mudita, you could look at “tile” which has its own app, that you will need to sideload.
Whichever you decide to go with, you need to be aware that you open the door to location tracking, which has been purposely removed by Mudita in the name of privacy

I know that Samsung (which is an Android) has something called SmartTags, but to be honest, I never used anything like this. I do know that Samsung SmartTags do not use Google services. They rely entirely on Samsung’s proprietary ecosystem. So, I’m not sure if it would work with Kompakt.
