Mudita is using a custom software, not android, also mudita has low target area in general due to the small number of phones, the lack of android and lack of internet. Although tethering could be a potential vulnerability, the point is that mudita is too small and not an attractive device to exploit since nothing is really on the phone.

That is a very good point!

This CVE is about a heap overflow in a specific QMI Voice API for a set of processors. Mudita Pure doesn’t use that API or those processors. So we dodged this particular bullet.
