I had an old iPhone skin and I cut it up to protect the case and then put a magsafe ring adapter on it, it works well enough to hold the phone on a car mount and align properly with my wireless charger, but it gets very thick.
So I went ahead and bought a round sticker to put directly on the phone and a ring magnet, the magnet is not as strong as I expected, barely better than the metal ring to be honest but the result is slimmer and I will be trying it out for the next couple of weeks.
Has anyone found a good alternative to keep the wireless charging and mounting the phone to magnetic holders?
