I just switched to the hibreak pro model and I am really enjoying it! I am able to use google maps and the ink OS for the homepage. I would absolutely love to utilize some of the mudita stock apps such as the alarm and phone dialler. Please let me know if these are available in APK format.

@somastudy here’s an update from the team:
Currently, we do not officially distribute the Mudita Kompakt stock applications as standalone APKs for other Android devices. These apps are tightly integrated with our specific MuditaOS K framework (especially for the E-Ink refresh modes and system fonts), so they often do not function correctly on standard Android phones without heavy modification.
I was thinking it would be nice to access on other eink devices. Thoughts?
@somastudy Currently, that’s not planned, however, I did see a post about this on REDDIT & someone actually tried to do this. I’m not sure if they succeeded & how it turned out.
We have very far plans to make them available.
By far we mean after releasing 2.0 software for the Kompakt, probably around version 3.0.
Rough estimation is 24–30 months from now. Sorry :-/
The reason is simple: with limited resources we focus only on software for our device.

I was able to get some access to the apps such as notes, messages, calculator etc. The phone app doesn’t work which is a shame because it’s rooted in the MK software. I have the MK and I would love to utilize the dialler on the HiBreak since it’s EINK optimized and private. Would love to see these features roll in…
