Got the announcement email last Thursday saying 1.4.0 is live, as of a few minutes ago my phone still claims it’s up to date…
I know the plan was releasing it in waves but almost a week later from the initial announcement is kinda crazy.
Anyone else still waiting?

@cazz the update is being rolled out in batches, so you should get it soon. This is standard practice. I can ask the team as to when they expect everyone to get the update.

No update here. This is maddening.
Someone else mentioned it, but if it is standard practice to roll an update out in waves, at least make it so when someone goes to find it, it is available. Please implement this moving forward. Thank you.

may be only coincidence…but my update showed up whenever I turned my WIFI on and connected to a WIFI network…I’m generally on LTE only…and you’ll need >50% battery
Thanks for this. Battery is full and I’ve toggled WiFi off and on. No update available yet.
I keep seeing different people saying this is “standard practice” but out of all the devices I’ve ever owned this is the first time I’ve encountered a company announcing an update and then saying it could take up to a week to get.
So for it being standard practice, seems kinda odd that this is the first time in my life I’ve encountered it.

I got mine but I agree with some of the previous voices, having an option to rush into an update makes sense - or stop announcing “update is there” saying “update rollout will take place Dec n-th - Dec m-th”.

Me too…0330 this morning…sometime between 2200 and 0300 it came. Just had to figure out that music folders needed to be directly loaded via files, not the Mudita Center. Still doesn’t put album songs in order? Is there a toggle that I am missing?
Group messaging works like a charm.
