Hey folks!
Do we know anything about the timing of the 1.4.0 update? Is a fall release still being targeted? I’m very much looking forward to installing utility apps like Keymapper and Killapps once the accessibility bug has been fixed.

It may be technically fall, but it sure feels like winter where I am, and they originally thought an October release was likely. I’m hoping its coming soon but there has still been no official word and I am getting discouraged.

It’s definitely a little discouraging, especially since a lot of what the update contains probably could’ve been pushed out in a hotfix. Hopefully we’ll hear something soon.

I was told by support 2 weeks ago that the new update will come “in 1 week”. So much for that.

@urszula and online has always suggested late fall (i.e. Late Nov, early Dec). Did support actually email?

I’m hoping it comes soon. I bought this phone as a pre-order, used it for a couple of months and was generally happy with it until I discovered just how many messages I was missing. It did seem weird to me that a North American version of the phone didn’t prioritize something as common here as group texts, but I’m willing to give Mudita the benefit of the doubt when they say they will fix it.
I’d love to go back to using it but missing out on group messages isn’t something I can accept. As others have said already it does feel more like winter where I am right now, but until American thanksgiving I’m willing to play along with it still being fall lol.

It does feel like winter so I had to look up official fall 
Per this site: " When does fall start in the US? The first day of fall in 2025 is Monday, September 22. This astronomical event, known as the autumnal equinox, signals the start of the autumn season. The season runs through December 21, leading up to the winter solstice."
I am hoping for Thanksgiving…in the meantime, I now now that Fall lasts a lot longer than I believed. Such is life…

@urszula a while back, you mentioned that the team was considering making wifi-assisted GPS an optional setting in order to improve navigation. Will this by chance be in the 1.4.0 update? It would be fantastic to have that option when traveling.

This is not in the scope for 1.4.0 & it’s not even on the roadmap. I will ask the team is they have made the decision about this, but from what I currently know, it’s not something that is planned at the moment.

Quick question with regards to 1.4 - does the team plan to add a copy text feature to group chats? Right now, I cannot copy text in a group chat at all, but in an individual chat the copy button appears in the top right hand corner after you select the text. Just letting you know that as of right now that doesn’t work in group chats.
