Why is melatonin so important?

Just wonderin’ why I’ve seen so many melatonin ads.

The hormone which signals the brain that it’s time to go to sleep, is melatonin, so when it’s delayed or suppressed by too much light exposure from our devices, sleep will be disturbed.

As for the adds, you asked a question about sleep on this forum earlier and maybe you are visiting sites that think you would make a great melatonin buyer. :wink:
