I watched so many reviews that unboxing and initial setup will no longer be any thrilling experience, I just hope to get it set up and forget about a smartphone for at least a decade. :wink:

Watching an unboxing video – although initially interesting when such videos started to appear several years ago – now to me is equivalent to walking through a house with a real-estate agent who says, “And this is the kitchen. … And this is the bedroom. … And this is the garage. …”

I’m super excited. I only just discovered the Kompakt late last night and ordered one immediately - it looks like the best minimal phone yet hands down.

Do you think I have a long wait ahead - I’m in Ireland so ordered the world version.

@fffscala Shipments of the global version will begin this month, following the order of purchases , starting with Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers, then moving on to orders placed through Mudita’s website. The team is keeping the suspense with no exact shipping start date revealed yet :grin:

Congrats! You will not be disappointed, you will probably have to wait a bit because it ships out to kick starter backers first, then indiegogo, and then people who purchase off the website, my guess is you would have to wait till later in the summer july/august

Yeah I hope people in Europe start getting it soon because I don’t get mine till May and I am guessing its going to be the final week of May :frowning:

I have enjoyed my time with the Light phone 2, but now its really starting to annoy me the size when I know there is something bigger and e-ink out there lol

@minimalist4life We’re all just guessing, but if shipments start in mid to late April, EU based purchasers could possibly receive them in May. So let’s just be patient :smiling_face_with_tear:
