I have a question for the developers - will the upcoming feature to sync with google calendar also be compatible with other calendar providers? If Mudita is pursuing their own e-ink fork of Davx5 (which it appears they are given the recent and active development) it would make sense that the other providers supported by Davx5 could be used as well. At the very least, hopefully the calendar will use the android calendar API instead of its own internal implementation. @urszula could you ask the development team if they plan to use android’s calendar API, or if the calendar app will continue to use its own internal implementation?

I hope the 2.0 calendar sync is just a clean UI for Davx5 and we can connect to alternative calendars (nextcloud for myself). Standard Cal/Card dav should be easier to leave in than take out… right?
