Is anyone having issues with regular sms messages randomly not either coming in or going out? My daughter and I both have a Kompakt and she seems to be having the most issues with others reliably receiving her texts. I seem to be having issues receiving texts to my phone. They will work fine the majority of the time but occasionally will just not go through, then work again later.
In the past week it has gotten pretty frequent though and it’s becoming quite an issue that messages aren’t getting through.
She has US Mobile for service, I have puretalk. We are both on NA Kompakts.

I’ve had similar issues randomly on US Mobile (Dark Star “AT&T” network). Make absolutely sure all your APN settings are correct, is the only advice I can offer. Still, I seem to occasionally miss texts (some I know about, who knows how many I don’t know about it). I’ve gone round and round trying to get to the bottom of why it’s happening, but it seems to be very random. There’s not a lot to go on so it’s hard to even suggest anything helpful for the Mudita team to address. Hopefully the upcoming group messages update will shake something up in the Kompakt that will fix it.

I am not sure about puretalk, but a google search for APN settings should help. You need to go into your Network and Internet settings on the Kompakt, then Mobile Network, then “Advanced”, then “Access Point Names” and enter add a new APN there with these settings.
