I turn off my Kompakt most nights before bed. After turning on my Kompakt in the morning, I get notifications for texts that were sent to me overnight. A couple strange things are happening at this point.
- The lesser issue is that reported receipt of texts I got while the phone was off indicate receipt at the time I turned my phone on, not presumably when they would have been received the night before (e.g., a text a friend sent at 11 pm the night before says “1 min” when I turn on my phone and check the SMS app at 8 am the next day). This seems odd to me, does that sound right to anyone else?
- The greater issue is that I now often receive a string of duplicates for texts that I received while the phone was off. These duplicates do not happen for the people on the other end, they report no duplicates. The duplicates seem not to happen for every text sent while the phone was off, seems random/intermittent from my end. But when they do happen, I will sometimes receive as many as five such duplicate texts, one after the other, separated by 10-15 minutes.
The duplication issue began May 30, so likely after the 1.5 update, but I can’t remember exactly when the phone updated.
I have tried clearing the SMS app’s cache to no avail.
I’m running MuditaOS K 1.5.0. SIM card is for T-Mobile.
Has anyone experienced this? Any idea what might be going on?
