I recall on previous OS versions that when audio is played on the Kompakt, it would only come out of the speaker on the bottom of the device. With most modern smartphones I have used, I have valued the audio also making use of the earpiece at the top front of the panel for added volume. It seems that this was enabled in 1.4.0 as I was listening to spotify last night and noticed it was able to play music more towards my face while I was reading my book. If this was actually fully implemented as a feature I just wanted to say thanks @urszula !

Settings → Accessibility → Audio Balance with Mono / Stereo options has been available since 1.2.0, I’m not sure how you could have accidently turned it on- maybe a third-part app changed the setting, that’s actually possible.
