I have just updated my Kompakt to 1.5.
There were no issues. However, I’ve noticed that the screen has much more ghosting. Even Mudita apps leave ‘traces’ on the screen, whereas before the update they seemed to trigger screen refreshes quite often. The screen looks a bit ‘dirty’ now. As for non-Mudita apps: they feel more snappy, scrolling is faster, less choppy.
Did the update change the e-ink refresh rate?
I didn’t notice such a change, however, I noticed that after turning the phone on, it takes much longer for it to be responsive. For example when I repeatedly press the system settings button, nothing happens for several seconds. The OS seems to need more time to “get settled” before it responds to key presses. But the app icon in Katapult reacts immediately.
I checked again, and indeed there is more ghosting now, even with 3rd party apps 
Thankfully the screen can be cleared using Katapult launcher.
Maybe its just micro-meditating 
or pondering its response
I don’t think so, but I’m going to aske the team to make sure.
