I have to admit that I’m almost in love with the Mudita Pure. I know it’s no longer being produced and that the main focus is now on the Mudita Kompakt, but I still wanted to ask, just in case, whether something similar to the Pure might be expected in Mudita’s product lineup again at some point in the future?

Welcome back @Toomas I have a Kompakt phone and there are enthusiastic users that like the model, however now, if I were given a choice for a phone, and if the cost was reasonable I would consider a Mudita Pure for its simplicity and portability. EDIT: see @Minimalmann79 post below, let’s say the NA version works.
Presently, for incoming calls, I have a non-internet Lively Flip 2 (Jitterbug) US$40 phone with almost the same minimalist applications, capabilities and features as the old Mudita Pure, one difference is the e-ink, but I cannot justify the added expense. For some, cost isn’t a factor, for me, it is.

No chance you will ever see a Pure 2. The first one was a nice looking device I really tried to make it work in Canada but it never really did, the team that actually put it together was fired and rightfully so, it was a bad launch, focus is on Kompakt now, there is no way Mudita goes back to a pure dumb phone. But I loved that phone better than the kompakt to be honest, I love a pure dumbphone when I have a choice which is why I am going back to the light phone 2 until my kompakt comes back.

Currently we do not have any plans to renew production of Mudita Pure. However, sometimes units do come up for sale in our outlet store.
