Questions about Mudita Kompakt

• Is it correct that Mudita OS is open source, MuditaOS K Kernel is open source, but not MuditaOS K, wich runs on Mudita Kompakt ?
  if not, is there any plan to make it open source ?
• I see on the forum that the OS uses Android 12, is it still true ?
  And for a side question about this one, do you use Android 12, or Android 12 Go edition ? As its made for low-end devices.

To answer your two questions- At this moment, we don’t plan on making the full operating system open source & yes, Mudita Kompakt is based on AOSP 12 and there is no plans to change that. We’ve chosen a proven, stable base (AOSP 12) for its solid security foundation, and we closely monitor for any emerging vulnerabilities. When needed, we deliver targeted patches quickly, no bloat, no unnecessary updates.
