I want to be able to associate a number from my phone book with a keypad button. Longpressing the button would initiate the call to associated number. Preferrably it should be possible to configure so that it can omit authentication / unblocking code entry, so it just calls the number, disregarding phone state, even though it requires entering the code or going out of offline mode for other activities.
Speed dial seems like a basic feature that was there in my first landline phone with keypad in mid 1980’s. I’m a bit suprised it’s not implemented here (or maybe it’s implemented, but it’s not obvious how to activate / use).
