Proton email — Community App Review
Version: v7.9.7 (17045)

I needed to check emails when out and about. I was using Google Mail but when I installed its APK on the Mudita, it refused to run due to security issues. I therefore hunted around for a free alternative. Luckily, the Proton Email app is easy to download and install. It also runs fine on my Mudita Kompakt (1.4.0). I haven’t fully tested it yet but it reads emails fine with no errors or stability problems. I’ve set my Gmail to automatically forward emails to the proton account until I fully migrate.

I also use proton mail on my kompakt. No major issues. Sometimes the keyboard appears at a strange moment making the emails difficult to read, but it’s more of a hiccup than a problem.

are you reading and writing? with the default keyboard? Mine pops up and disappears when I try to reply.

Edit: Just realized I was using 7.9.8 will revisit this
