Hi,
Just popping a note in here to check if Mudita have any plans to support Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) in future? If not I would like to suggest it a something to consider.
PWAs are essentially delivered through the browser but crucially are installable and can work offline. The problem here is obviously the Mudita OS doesn’t ship with a proper browser and many like myself wouldn’t want one. However PWAs are a technology to watch since they free the user and developer of needing to use an app store. All you need is the URL of the app. There are obviously security implications of this, but I wonder if basic support might look something like a prompt either in the phone or Mudita Center app where you can enter the URL of a trusted PWA to install it. Additionally if QR codes scanner were implemented they could be installed via the codes, perhaps with a warning prompt to say that the user is responsible for checking if the URL is safe.
Just a suggestion for the future.

@stew Thanks for this suggestion. I will pass this on to the team. To be honest, I’m not familiar with PWA, but it does sound good.
