New Kompakt NAM Startup Issues

I just received a brand-spanking new Mudita Kompakt.
On powerup it appeared to go into a diagnostics routine that was mostly Chinese. Attempts to power down the phone failed. For the past 20 minutes it was looping through various diagnostics, which appeared to fail for CC Pin and something else. I submitted a ticket. I tried to follow the link to the ticket, but it requested credentials which I don’t have.
Right now the phone appears to be stuck in the middle of a universal antenna test and hasn’t changed for 10 mins.
Any ideas are appreciated. I tried the Mudita chat function, but no response.

After 20 mins of the diags/screen being stuck in Antenna diags, the screen went black and it appeared to perform either a reset or a power off/on. Maybe it ran out of battery as I pulled it off the charger to intentionally let it power down. On charge and power up I now get the desired setup menus and am currently doing an OS update. Really weird.

I am having the same issue. Phone has been working, ran out of battery, recharged, tried to turn on. Buttons move me up and down the menu or change the menu (including between Eng and ?Chinese characters) but won’t power it down. See photo.

I was able to resolve with a battery down/up cycle, but this was TS advice that came a couple of days later:
“When it comes to the chinese symbols error - please press volume down until you reach the bottom. Then click Power and it should vanish and everything should be alright. Please try this and let me know if you still need help.”
