ooh this sounds pretty sufficient for the purpose! also…10 frames a second is so funny… its slower than the speed i use when I teach 12 year olds how to animate…
and thank YOU for being open to my UNSOLICITED advice!! haha!
it sounds like those two other cameras are more of a burden. if it were me, id look for a new solution that felt good and positive, and not so fussy. but then again… im usually pretty averse to buying a new solution. unless it’s used, out of style, but properly effective.
I use to have a panasonic lumix camera that had a manual controls. If i still had that, that would be my choice. also, i wonder if olympic makes good digital snappy cams as good as their film versions. also also… astrolander’s suggestion seems good.
Okay, that suggestion wins it for me. That is so cool! I love that it has no screen, just like the disposable Kodak film cameras. You’ve really got me re-thinking my decision here… I may just have to get one of these.
Get a pancake lense or similar to it, and set an ISO range to AUTO - and it can be quite snappy.
You might need to crop some of the images a bit, but I use my a6700 as a walk around camera ![]()
