Mutida Pure won't connect to EE network in UK

Hey All!

Inserted my SIM into my new Mutida Pure and it won’t pick up a signal. Pop the sim back in my iPhone and it works, so I know it’s not the SIM.

Is the EE network supported? Is there anything I need to do to get the phone to recognise the new sim? (have tried re-inserting sim many times and have made sure it’s in the right slot, etc.).

Is the phone duff or am I doing something wrong?

@danc Hi. Thanks for your question. Any chance that the sim card you’re using is a 5G sim card, because those do not work. A few users reported that it’s best to get a new sim card from your carrier & to make sure that it’s not a 5G sim card.

Oh that is a shame, sounds like that is the issue. I planned to swap between the iPhone and Pure. Don’t want to downgrade to 4G :frowning:

@danc You might want to ask your provider if they would clone your sim card- but just one would be 5G compatible. Some may be willing to do it.
