Great question. This also occurs when I manually enter a number. Including a delimiter of any kind prevents me from sending a text message. The only valid formats are XXXXXXXXXX or +CCXXXXXXXXXX

It looks like that only on the kompakt screen. If you transfer them to the laptop, they really look good.

This! As a former flip phone user, I I constantly find that my phone is either makes pocked calls or sends random SMS to people. It is that annoying that I actually consider going back to the flip phone…
@Fancy Are you using a screen lock mechanism? Like a PIN or a fingerprint unlock?
Those are not just security mechanism (like if someone got a hold of your phone) but they also block the phone from randomly unlocking by just a random swipe, which can happen in a pocket or purse.
