I’ve been using a KaiOS flip from Orbic and it’s been a pretty bad experience. I can’t wait for my Kompakt to show up so I can finally leave the Orbic. It served its purpose and got me away from my smartphone but MAN this thing is tough to use.

Welcome to the forum! I’m in Aus and have ordered a Kompakt, I’ll post here Kompakt 4G Band support when it arrives and I’ve had a chance to use it a little

Fab review - thanks! I’ve posted this q a few places - but does anyone know for sure how the Global version would work in New York (Verizon/Spectrum)? Thanks for any info here. I’d like to use in England and New York.

Verizon Wireless (VZW) uses these 4G/LTE bands:
- 2, 4, 5, 13, 46, 48, 66
The 'Global optimized’ version of the Kompakt supports these 4G/LTE bands:
- 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 26, 34, 38, 39, 40, 41
Therefore, the ‘Global’ Kompakt should work on these 4G/LTE bands on Verizon Wireless:
- 5, 13
