Mudita Kompakt review after 6 months

Wow, I did not know about this!

I sold my Kompakt after a few months of use last year (and got an F1 Pro Maple) because the Kompakt lacked voicemail and texting capabilities to which cellphone users in the USA are accustomed.

I hope that one day Mudita will create a sales page full of details about each feature of the Kompakt.

This would help those of us in the USA and Canada who want to buy – or re-buy – the Kompakt (or whatever 5G model replaces it) to make a clearer decision about whether it is worth risking the expensive (US$70-80) cost to return it within the 14-day satisfaction window, should we not like it.

This is not TRUE. You can absolutely text a number by just imputing the digits. The number DOES NOT need to be in your contacts.

Interesting. I now tried this and it worked, indeed (as it should).

two weeks ago I had to urgently text someone that I was running late for a meeting. I didn’t have her in my contacts, but I copied her number from a mail and pasted it at ‘enter a. number’. The application then only showed ‘No contact found’ instead of the ‘Send to: …’ . Weird. I was really annoyed then, though. I don’t know what went wrong.
