A couple photos from Arizona, USA  Took these last year right after I got the phone as I was testing out the Kompakt’s camera.

These look so good. The vibe is so nostalgic to me.

I love spending sunsetting without being urged to glance a smartphone, alongside playing good records

When I snapped this pic, I wasn’t sure what would come out, but I’m really pleasantly surprised how much detail showed up.

Could you have focused on the airplane instead of on the water drops?

It’s hard to tell, but you can tap on the place that you want to focus on, and the screen changes, but it’s kind of difficult to see what the picture will look like- because of the e ink screen.

For me, the biggest (pleasant) surprise with the Mudita Kompakt is how good the camera is, and how good-looking the photos come out to be. We were taking pictures at an airshow recently, and some of the pictures were looking so great!

Hi… I haven’t read this full thread. I just would like to know if there is any gcam version (some verisons work without Play services) which makes this camera more powerful, better quality photos? Or is it that marginal that it’s better to use the stock camera app? I only read that open camera doesn’t have much better quality… Thank you.

ive played around with other apps and no there really is no perceivable difference. Which is why I got this little camera that sits in my pocket and it has WAY better photos

Do you use it plugged into the Kompakt so as to have a viewfinder via the Kompakt?

Thank you very much. Good to know. And thanks for the tip with the camera.

I don’t need a very good camera for everday life fortunately. Just for travelling. And from what I have seen in this thread these pictures here look good for a simple phone like the Kompakt. Good enough for snapshots. Then there are friends and collegues who can send better quality photos to me. For travelling and important photos of course this is not suitable.

Thank you!
