I do like the “film” look that the camera gives, I just felt the need to add some “noise” to mimic the grain and hide the blurry spots (especially for the sky)

Just spent 3 days over 2200m elevation to find a bit freshness.

the picture quality is more than sufficient in my opinion. Is anyone really expecting to take professional-grade pictures with an e-ink phone? hopefully it will be able to record video in future versions

Hi people,

Is it only me or does the Kompakt takes 1-2 seconds to take a picture ?
I feel there’s a very long time between the moment I press the button, the moment the picture is really taken and the moment I can take a new one.

I measured it by taking as many picture a I could from my watch: the first picture needs more than one second between button press and real photo. Then, you need to wait 6 seconds to be able to take the next photo. This is quite a lot, isn’t it?

Check out this visual and experiential exploration of Mudita Kompakt, focusing on the surprises its photo-taking capabilities deliver

It’s in Polish  But a picture is the international language of beauty

Some photos from my trips around Oregon and Washington this summer on the Kompakt. I have been very impressed with some of the pictures I have been able to take, and I find the process and look of the pictures to be comparable to my film cameras, including the part where I really have no idea how the picture turned out until I see it on my computer, haha.
The simplicity of the camera (and perhaps lack of certain capabilities) was one of the pros in my list of reasons to switch to the kompakt from an iphone. I wanted some incentive to use my cameras that I have invested time and money into collecting, but having a pretty good camera in your pocket like most modern smartphones have I found myself never bringing them along. Enjoying the experience thus far

Yes I tough the same: it’s like 24x36 film, you have no idea of what you have taken before you download on your computer.
