Agree - really like these!
Out of curiosity, did you do any edits to these? Or are they posted straight out of the camera?
@urszula Thank you!
@brendxn They are taken and posted straight from the stock camera app. At first, I thought about sideloading a third-party camera/editor but then decided against it because I discovered that I like the feel of natural photos. And when I really want to edit and play with settings, I’ll do it at my computer.
interestingly this i think fits perfectly (intentionally or not) into some of the purpose of the phone, which is to get away from, not re-enforce, addictive technology design.
the usual camera apps are made for fast shooting, fast review, fast editing and publishing to feed the instant gratification / social media design loop
the nature of the eink screen forces you to actually stop, frame your picture, take the shot then… wait, and review your photos later on a computer. really slows down the process like you said not unlike a film camera in some ways, and really makes the whole process more intentional i think .
Just an interesting discovery, I took a photo of a document and tried to zoom in to see the details. Above 200% zoom, I cannot pan the view all the way to the edges, so I cannot see the content on the sides.
A blurry goat, took it while walking by. Quality is bad but the memory of running in to this fellow is at least captured
I now only use the Mudita camera app and am absolutely satisfied with the results. That’s all you need for a few snapshots on the go.
yeah I am totaly with you. I like the idea of a quick snapshot. For everything else I have camera and can make more intentional pictures.
If only it would be quick
and it’s not faster with OpenCamera either…
I get your point but the stuff I take there it works.
Some pictures I took on my business trip. It was very rainy but I still like how they turned out.
Also, I accidentally used the flash when I took a picture of my food and ended up with some retro vibes
could anyone help me learn how to export the photos from my kompakt? in the mudita center the only option is to delete them
If you are on Windows, you can get there by accessing the phone through your file system. Another user posted a guide on how it works with Macs here: Customer support thread (all questions welcome) - #154 by denguefeber
Thank you!! Here are some of the photos I took, They turned out amazing!!
