In my Mudita Kompakt the Offline+ button is slightly movable. If you shake the phone you can hear it. Is it the same with you?
Whenever I set the phone down, I can hear something jiggle a tiny bit. Wasn’t really sure what it was but seemed harmless enough
Same with my button.
My Offline+ button is secure and there is no rattle nor jiggle when shaking it or setting it down. I think your device may be defective, unfortunately. I’m using the case that I purchased from Mudita and it does give a level of protection over the Offline+ switch.
I don’t hear anything, I would contact support make sure you don’t have a faulty unit
I have noticed when I got to put the phone in my pocket (without a case) sometimes it hits the offline button and takes the phone offline without me knowing,
This has happened to me on multiple occasions, I find it very concerning that I could and have gone for hours unknowingly offline and miss important calls.
Yeah, this was concerning to me because during the day I have to be reachable for phone calls if my kids call from school, now I double check every time I put it in my pocket lol
Exactly my situation. I have considered glueing the button.
lol don’t do that
Everything is solid & secure on my end. Nothing is jiggling or loose.
Please don’t. Please take a video/picture and send it to our customer support. They will be able to assess if this is a warranty issue.
What I’d do if I didn’t care about keeping the hardware intact, would be sanding the button by half milimeter or to level it with the rest of the side.
Just to confirm, @stevegreene and @urszula: if you hold a finger on the Offline+ button and wiggle it a little, does the button not move at all? Not a tiny bit?
Just tried here, I see a little movement is possible with the button without toggling it, but no rattle and no sound when I shake the phone.
Same here. Moveable but no rattle when shaking.
@denguefeber on my end, the OFFLINE+ switch does have tactile resistance, meaning it doesn’t toggle too easily and requires a bit of deliberate force to switch positions.
@urszula Yep! Same here. But I think @dawidmroz1990 is talking about a wiggle of the button when it is in either position, not that the button is easily toggled.
Exactly, the button works well, but it’s a bit loose. If you shake the phone, you can hear it.
It’s not loose on my end. It’s pretty sturdy when I try to wiggle it from left to right.
