Mudita Center does not work when offline

I’m on macOS. I noticed that mudita center does not start when I have all my network interfaces turned off (the application starts but main window does not show). I need to connect to the Internet in order to access my phone and manipulate contacts and phone messages. I see no reason to have to establish Internet connection in order to do such things.

Tested on mudita center 1.4.2

I have noticed the same thing - I was looking forward to using Mudita Center offline - is this actually possible on Mac?
