Hoping to get some feedback from anyone who has a Mudita Alarm clock. Now that I am daily driving my Mudita Kompakt as my sole device and it doesn’t go upstairs, I need a nice alarm clock. I would love the Harmony clock but it is very expensive compared to the Bell. My only worry with the Bell is that it seems it makes a ticking sound, how loud is it? I am someone who likes total quiet so I am unsure whether to purchase the Bell or just wait & hope for a sale on the Harmony!
Well, I still have the first version of the Mudita Bell, and as someone who’s very sensitive to noise (even though I love the ticking of a mechanical clock), I can absolutely reassure you. You don’t hear a ticking sound—it’s more like the sound of a running clock mechanism; I don’t know how else to describe it. But I only hear it when I hold the Bell right up to my ear. It sits on my nightstand right next to my head (about 30–40 cm away), and I don’t hear a thing.
I’ll chime in here because I have all the Mudita alarm clocks
Harmony 2 is the GOAT! (Greatest of all time). I LOVE buying this clock for my friends & family as gifts. Everyone is so happy with them. Yes, they may cost more, but they are totally worth the money.
@ArmchairSetup Wow! That was 4 years ago Yeah, I still like the original Bell 1- I love the design & the simplicity. I still have it in my bedroom. However, over time, I grew to love Harmony 2 because it’s gotten so many good features. And I totally understand that not everyone has the same sleep routine, and some people may like more customization.
