Minesweeper — Community App Review
Version: v1.0.0
When a first started using my Mudita Kompakt, I was really impressed with the preinstalled Chess app and wanted to build something with a simliar aesthetic. I’m surprised there are so few simple games that are built for the Kompakt so I decided to build one! Minesweeper was the obvious choice and I had a lot of fun building it.
I hope you enjoy and would love to get your feedback. Perhaps I will make more in the future!
My current implementation features:
Three difficulty levels:
- Beginner (9x9)
- Intermediate (16x16)
- Expert (16x30)
Game statistics, including:
- Games played
- Wins and losses
- Win percentage
- Win Streak
- W/L Ratio by difficulty level
- Best completion times
- Simple, responsive controls
- Optimized for e-ink screens
- Offline play with no accounts or internet connection required
The goal is to provide a polished, lightweight Minesweeper experience that feels at home on e-ink phones while remaining enjoyable on any Android device.

I installed it on my Kompakt and enjoy it a lot. It’s great. I can only play it on 9x9 though because the other settings are far too small for my fingers. Thankyou!

Hey there! Version 1.0.2 has just been released with larger tiles for the higher difficulty game modes to support your fingers!!
Another feature i’m excited about is the ability to save a game (one for each difficulty level) which is especially useful for more difficult levels. I hope this improves your user experience!
