I sideloaded Aurora store and installed an app called Bluetooth Codec changer. It informed me that LDAC is an option for streaming audio, along with AAC and normal bluetooth. I streamed music to my Nothing Ear 2024 earbuds, and enabled LDAC on the buds, and I saw the currently active codec switch from AAC to ‘LDAC’ in Bluetooth Codec Changer.
I saw a forum post that said LDAC isn’t supported on Kompakt, but I also noticed that LDAC is supported natively on Android 8. I think if you have headphones that allow you to stream with LDAC, the phone will switch into it, even though you can’t manually enable it via Developer options (I tried to find this and it wasn’t present in the phone’s settings)
