I think this is the best option for access to Gmail accounts on the Kompakt. Unlike @Sylvia99 I’ve had zero authentication issues. Smooth sailing and a good, minimal layout. Not specifically designed for e-readers, but very nice.

Good day, community.
The app is working well overall, but I have a problem and I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced it.
I cannot see the “New Email” icon in the top-right corner, so I’m unable to compose and send a new email. The icon is simply not visible on my phone.
I can receive emails without any issues, but I can’t create or send new ones.
Has anyone encountered this problem before or found a solution?

If you’re experiencing the same issue I had, where the compose email icon either wasn’t visible or would appear and disappear, I found a solution.
Go to Settings → Appearance and disable the floating compose button option. Once I did that, the pencil icon for composing new emails became permanently visible at the top of the screen.
I’ve attached a few screenshots for reference, and I hope this tip helps anyone else who runs into the same problem.
