Jumping Jack – simple retro game for Mudita Kompakt

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a small Jumping Jack-style retro game for the Mudita Kompakt.

The game is designed specifically for the Kompakt and uses its touchscreen controls:

  • :reverse_button: Move left

  • JUMP to jump

  • :play_button: Move right

  • You can also hold left/right while jumping

  • The gaps in the platforms move from side to side

  • Reaching the top platform takes you to the next level

  • Each new level is slightly faster

  • Simple black-and-white retro graphics

This is an early test version, so there may still be bugs, and I’d really appreciate some feedback from other Kompakt users.

I’ve made a small update to the Jumping Jack game for Mudita Kompakt.

New in this version:

  • 3 lives per level

  • Lose one life when you fall

  • Gain 1 extra life when reaching the next level (maximum 3)

  • Lives are now shown at the top of the screen :heart:

  • All previous features remain unchanged
