It's Official! Mudita Kompakt has left the warehouse!

What’s more concerning is that news articles, movie scenarios and possibly even judicary or other decision making is going to be AI-driven, not just assisted. And the quality of faking footage of any event makes us live in the post-truth world where probably the best we can do is getting back to trying to live at fullest in our local circles, offline.

And thats what i do, i dont go into any social media, i dont read news out of random sites, only watch youtube videos from people i know about things that interest me and it is quite easy for me to distinguish AI from real picture/text so i can instantly unsubscribe if the person start posting random things. :slight_smile:

And im here for the same reason.

Apart from the AI image, is there anything you can tell us on the topic of the delivery of phones?
It seems like many people’s pre-orders have not been dispatched yet, even though you said that all of them should have been shipped by yesterday.

@brathering We are now shipping Global Optimized Versions of Mudita Kompakt as they are received. The phones are in stock and ready go if someone orders. According to or marketing manager @pawel_pacewicz all PRE-ORDERS were shipped/dispatched. There were some individual orders which had some address issues, which we are handling individually. This is what we communicated in our newsletter this morning:
From now on, when you order your Kompakt, it will ship according to standard delivery terms:
Within the EU: delivery within 1-3 business days
Outside the EU: delivery in up to 7 business days

If someone pre-ordered & has still not received a confirmation, they should definitely reach out to our customer service at support@mudita.com

We’re also on track to begin shipments of the North America Optimized version soon - stay tuned for updates!

Then why am I being ignored @urszula ?
I wrote support Monday and yesterday, haven’t heard anything. Still haven’t received a shipping notification…
What you say is that I should’ve waited, and ordered it now, then I would have gotten it sooner than when I ordered the 24th of April?

Id suggest you do the support email if you haven’t already. I don’t think urszula is actually on the support team, she seems like she’s the forum coordinator

@landbrugsmedisteren I’m sorry that you are having to wait. I did ping our support dept to get some info and asked them to respond to you. One of our customer Service reps @szymonjaworski or @robert_gwarek should get back to you as soon as they can. As @rowancne mentioned, since I’m not in the official customer service dept, I don’t have access to individual orders.

Thanks for your reply!
However, I have pre-ordered my Kompakt, and the order is still being processed.
I also checked the address and could not find any typo or something similar.
I sent a ticket to your support team today as well, but only received an automatic reply saying that it could take longer than usual.

Edit: I can also not access the information on the status of my ticket.
I have received a confirmation directly after purchasing the phone.

I got a reply from support this morning, they say my order should indeed have been shipped, and they will make sure to inform the warehouse about the issue. Crossing fingers for a shipping notification today.

Thanks Mudita team. I’ve been using the Kompakt for 10 days now and it’s been working great for me. I’ve cut down my screen time in a ridiculously dramatic way (I only use it for calls, messages, notes, and Spotify).
With my attention becoming way more stable, I’m realizing just how much my smartphone was constantly messing with my daily life. Now I mostly use it as an offline device for outdoor activities that the Kompakt’s hardware doesn’t support, like digiscoping or more advanced mapping (though I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well MAPS.ME runs on MK after sideloading it).

No, the device isn’t perfect, but I feel like there’s a lot of room for improvement on the software side. And even as it is, it’s already helping me a ton with regaining focus. I’m putting my trust in the team to keep improving the OS over time!
