I was wrong about offline plus mode

I have said that there is a bug where wifi and other things in control center will not return to their original state after switching offline plus on and off. I said this because I had had issues with my wifi randomly turning off and someone else on the forum had said that they had this bug. However, I realized after testing that it just turns off after a while of being disconnected on my device, and that offline plus doesn’t cause the issue. I understand why this was done since when disconnected there is no reason to waste battery running the wifi module, but in the long run it wastes battery because wifi wastes so much less battery than LTE and I the wifi doesn’t automatically reconnect when I get back home, so I end up spending mst of the time using LTE and burning battery fast. I think this should be able to be fixed pretty easily, and there may be a creative solution to get the best of both worlds.

@htoke i’m not sure we have the same issue then.

My wifi doesn’t stop randomly. My issue is that when disabling offline mode the wifi doesn’t turn back on if it was on. And this I’ve shown on a video recording here it happens even if I disable it after 1 second. So it’s not related to used/unused.

Bluetooth on the other hand turns on if it was on.

This bug appeared with the 1.2.0 update, it wasn’t there in 1.1.1

I also have this bug. Wasn’t always there, started in 1.2.0 update.

@htoke Thanks for clarifying this.
@gezimos I’m asking for help from the team so that I can better understand what is happening in your situation.
Like I mentioned before, I was not able to recreate this issue, but maybe the team can be of some help.

Yeah I think we must have different issues
