I know disassembling the Kompakt will void the warranty but

Even putting the battery at 50% and taking it out of the phone it wouldnt store well?

Storing them at 50-60% is definitely better, it does help prolong the life. But batteries will still degrade from not using them. And they will degrade even more if you don’t charge them once in a while.

That’s why it’s almost useless to buy “original” batteries for old phones because they’ve sat in shelves for so long even a smaller capacity third-party will be better because it’s usually a more recent production.

Replacement batteries for Mudita Kompakt will be available for purchase. Please keep in mind that replacing the battery requires specialist knowledge and appropriate tools and ideally should be performed by professionals or authorized service to ensure safety and proper functioning of your device.

Thanks for the reply @aleksander

Yes of course that is a given. But I do have the tools and the know-how to do such replacements, I have done it before with a lot of phones.

What about screens, back covers will it be possible to buy them in the future?

Glad to hear that. Still worth mentioning for those among us (myself included) who do not have that experience or know-how.
Select spare parts will be available to purchase, but at this time I can only confirm batteries. Would that be ok for now?

@aleksander Yes that is good for now
I hope when you guys let us know when that happens.

Thanks again

@The I don’t know if you’ve seen my post on another thread: We will offer spare parts, such as batteries and displays, for at least four years.
