Hello so the ANNOYING auto unlock while in pocket has been driving me crazy. I wish the fingerprint sensor would only function when also pressing the power button to wake screen. Well in the meantime I found an app that will auto lock the phone if the phone unlocks with my finger when putting it in my pocket. I have no idea the type of battery drain it will cause yet as I found this app like 10min ago but it appears to work so far. If anyone wants to give it a try Gravity Screen APK for Android Download

Another fix for this is for example if you put your phone in your pocket using your left hand, only set up the fingerprint sensor with the fingers from your right hand.

Exactly that. Use a finger to open the phone that never touches the sensor when the phone is in your pocket. Easy.

The phones screen will still wake up and risk dialing emergency since the button is on that lockscreen.

Oh wow. I have to agree with you now that I had my first emergency pocket dial experience. I put my phone in my pocket with my non-unlocking hand, and next thing I know, I heard “Hello, what is your emergency? Can you confirm you location?” coming from my pocket. Yikes!
