File-Deletion Bugs in MuditaOS K 1.1.1 and Mudita Center 3.0.1

File-Deletion Bug in MuditaOS K 1.1.1

I noticed two odd files in my Kompakt’s Camera app’s Gallery:

Each file gave me this screen when I tapped its icon:

But, when I tried to delete the file by tapping the trashcan icon, I got this:

…and the file did NOT get deleted.

File-Deletion Bug in Mudita Center 3.0.1

Wondering whether I could use Mudita Center to delete the two files, I saw two 0-kilobyte files in the Manage Files > Photos section. I put a checkmark next to one of them, clicked the [Delete] pushbutton, and got a “Delete file?” modal dialog:

After I clicked the [DELETE FILE] pushbutton in the “Delete file?” modal dialog, I got this “Deleting failed” modal dialog:

After I clicked the [CLOSE] pushbutton in the “Deleting failed” modal dialog, I saw that the file remained in the Manage Files > Photos section.

Repeated attempts to delete either file via Mudita Center
always failed.

Notes

  • The Camera app’s Gallery identified the two files as being created on the same date: 31 Dec 1969 @ 6:00 PM.
  • Mudita Center identified the two files as 1748468056997.jpg and 1748528199693.jpg.
  • The sideloaded Quik app (my replacement for Kompakt’s SMS app), when directed to “Attach a photo” to an outgoing message, displays this, which tells me that – for what it’s worth – my Kompakt is seeing these two 0-kilobyte files in the “Pictures” directory (not in the “DCIM\Camera” directory):
  • For what it’s worth, I could not see these two 0-kilobyte files when I used my computer to navigate to the “Pictures” directory.

@kirkmahoneyphd Another nicely outlined bug  I’m passing it on.
