Feedback (So Far)

Hey there,
I just received my preordered Mudita Kompakt (North America Optimized Version) yesterday and am very excited about it. There are a few things that I have noted that I think could be improved upon as well. I also want to note that going into this I already anticipated the need to side load a few apps. My banking app (if possible), An app that lets me borrow books from my local library, and my nutrition tracking app. Mostly these are region specific apps so I never expected them to come on this device.
Anyway, here is my list of hopes for updates in order of most important to me to least.
• Ability to change default weather location to my location instead of Warsaw
• Ability to type longer notes
• Turn-by-turn directions in maps
• Ability to change calendar layout from hourly look at day to summary of all events and time of each event in day
• Sudoku app (ok this one is a stretch but it has chess and I don’t really like chess but I LOVE Sudoku!)
•Off/Lock Screen customization. To have nothing or just the time and date or something of that nature
• Additional timer and stopwatch added to alarm app. This would be very helpful for some tasks
• Additional Notification sounds. Specifically ones that are a little shorter in duration for a text notification for instance

Some of these are more practical than others, but generally I just want to use this as the best tool for me and be able to have the furthest degree of separation from my smartphone (Ideally it will go in a drawer and rarely come out).
Thanks for reading!

You can change the default location from Warsaw but it is a little buggy. Play with adding your location and deleting it, I’m not sure exactly what sequence of hopping on one foot while sticking your tongue out, rubbing your belly, and patting your head at the same time got it to work but after a couple minutes of fiddling it finally had my location showing and removed Warsaw altogether.

When you start typing a note, you’re actually writing in the Title field. Just tap on the line below and you’ll be typing in the main note body, where you can write notes that are hundreds of pages long.

It’s not intuitive at first, but makes sense after you see it!

I think this is how I did it…

  1. Open weather
  2. Tap the pencil icon
  3. Tap the default location, Warsaw
  4. Type the name of my location and select it from the list
  5. Save it

Or something like that!

You can definitely do that  Just click on the pencil in the weather app.

This just adds a weather location, it doesn’t change the default one. In other wordss, how do you delete Warsaw in the above example?

You change the default Warsaw one to your city, you can’t delete the default one you can change it only.
