But in all seriousness, it had a sort of factory new smell I’ve never smelled before. Was nice.
I started using mine on Saturday (it’s now Tuesday here) and the battery is still going, which is great!
I’ve been sort of preparing for minimalism for a while - have seriously reduced the number of social sites I have an account on, for example - but didn’t expect the transition to be so easy. Surprisingly, I’ll pick up my Kompakt, unlock it, realize there’s not really anything to suck my time away there, and put it down, and the best part is that I don’t even feel like I’m missing out (for now).
Just want to give props to Mudita on the design of the phone and OS. There are kinks to work out, of course, but it’s seriously in a different league compared to other E-ink or “less smart” phones out there.
The small size, quality of the hardware, having a fingerprint sensor / wireless charging, offline switch, and vintage / soft look of the photos
