I looked around but can find an exact answer - will this be added to future udates? I think it’s basic information and it’s a must have.
@astratev I’ve passed this on to the team. Currently, we do not have this feature in Mudita Kompakt.
I’m going to voice my support for the ability to turn the screen light on/off with a physical button too. I would prefer to have the light off during the day but if I need my phone in the middle of the night there is zero chance of me being able to turn on the light through the touchscreen controls.
If the settings allowed us to remap buttons, we could have options like using the power button as a toggle for the light or changing the volume buttons (I can easily change the volume through the touchscreen and I don’t change the volume often so I’m not terribly concerned about needing to access it with a physical button).
Not sure if you are sideloading but there is an app in the Aurora store called Button Mapper that gives you that flexibility. I have a double tap on the home button turn onand off the flashlight and long press the volume keys to skip ahead or back in Spotify.
I actually just discovered a similar app last night as I was thinking about this issue called key mapper. I’m loving it so far! I mapped my volume keys so that a short press changes the volume and a long press changes the screen brightness.
