Estimated launch date of MuditaOS K 1.5.0 (in your opinion)

Do we have pop up help on settings some screens?

Where’s the What’s New report for this new version?

Do I have to update? I am comfortable using version 1.4.0 on this Kompakt.

Can anyone test and confirm this please ? Or is it only happening to me ?

You need to go to System → Keyboard settings, and then add a custom layout and enable it. But even after that, the old layout is still active. Yes or no ?

NEVERMIND. ISSUE SOLVED.

Dissapointing the calendar lterally got one update. Guys how hard is it to make this a easy calendar to use? Do we have to wait another year to have the ability to create repeating calendar events? Or increase the calendar notification time to more than 5 mins? SImple fixes should not take this long. Literally been a year no since this device has been released. Now the next update will probably another 6 months from now.

The hardest part of the update is waiting when others have it  This update strikes all the right notes with me. Super happy. Can’t wait to see it roll out. I wonder how they determine which phones get the updates when? @urszula , any insight as to the actual update process and roll out?

I haven’t received my update yet, and I couldn’t care less. I am firmly convinced that the vast majority of the existing shortcomings will not be resolved—not in this update, not in the next, and perhaps never. Anyone hoping for serious improvements is almost certain to be disappointed.

I can live quite happily with the Kompakt in its current state. That said, as a developer myself, I would find it somewhat embarrassing if hobby programmers were launching apps in their spare time that are more thoughtfully designed than those produced by a company with a not-insignificant number of employees.

Well said. I couldn’t agree more.

Is the Mudita logo on the lock/home screen?

I like that the incoming phone call “Decline” has been improved to swipe. It has been improved for pocket carry.

What an incredibly disappointing update. No regrets in returning the Kompakt.

Hopefully you guys will get meaningful features within a year (lol) that should have been implemented on day one, such as recurring calendar events, a proper music app, a checklist function, and etc.

Dear @Minimalmann79 I am very pleased with the offline mode silencing texts - when I moved the switch to on line the notifications resumed, nice feature, delayed receipt of texts until I wanted to get them.

I am sorry you are annoyed by the notifications and silencing them is not working for you, is there a reason you don’t switch to offline?

It’s interesting you returned the device and have such critiques. The update did bring some good changes, but I can share with some disappointments.

Did sentry opt-out get added?

The Home screen date links to the Mudita calendar app. If a different calender is loaded, does the new calendar open from the Kompakt home screen?

I don’t switch to offline because I still need to be available to take phone calls
