I know the user manual says to specifically not charge the phone overnight, but now with the update to limiting battery capacity to 80%, is this okay to do?
I’m in a position where my phone is paired to a smartwatch, so I lose on average 60% battery in a 24 hour period.

Mine charges from around 20% to 80% for about 1 hour. I do it in the morning while I have my coffee.
I do but not every night. I only charge it every one to two nights. I actually never knew that the user manual said not to charge it overnight.
It’s probably common to all phone manufacturers, like many other ‘safety’ clauses (don’t iron shirt while wearing it).
Never , no need too, I keep it between 20-80 percent charge, at night I shut it off
YUP, that’s what happens with mine. I never charge overnight
@astratev I know, it is amazing how fast it charges. I always keep it capped at 80% - want to maximize battery life and really dread having to ship it for X weeks to get battery replaced a few years from now.
For me it takes about twice as long. And I just checked my battery again. It shows 25% and “4 hours 8 minutes left”. When I got the Kompakt, it showed 66% and “3 hours 50 minutes left”. What shall I make of this ?
