@markay I’ve reach out to our team about this. This is an unusual situation. In this case, we would recommend that you reach out to our customer service for specific technical support. They said that it would be helpful to look at the logs to see what is happening. They will give you instructions a to how to send that over.

If this affects any other users, don’t forget about the Mudita Center desktop application. It is a helpful tool. With your Mudita Kompakt connected to your computer, it will allow you to create a backup of your phone data, which is recommended especially before any major OS update. You may back up your data in case something like this happens, and the Mudita Center makes it very easy to restore the lost data.

totally agree, so annoying! And a factory reset is not a good solution!! So many of us have this issue since the update - I have 4 fake notifications on my phone app. Ugh

Hey people with the stale notifications stuck, I released Katapult 1.4. And since I added the support for Voicemail notifications now that Kompakt supports them, I also added a clear notifications for the phone app.
I made a simple video on how it should work:
First time you open Katapult it will ask you to give some permissions for notifications and phone/sms logs. And to set it as a default launcher.
After clearing the stale number, if you like Katapult you can keep it. If not:
- If you wish to uninstall Katapult, longpress in empty areas in Home (in Katapult). Then tap settings / All Apps / Show Katapult Icon. This will make Katapult appear as an app in All apps, longpress on it and tap Uninstall.

I too have this issue. My baseline notification number is 4, and when I get real missed calls that number goes up accordingly so more annoying than anything else. Still would be amazing to have fixed though.

I got rid of these notifications by downloading Fossify Phone and clearing my entire call history.
